Sarah Limacher, Group Sommelier of Keystone Group

Sarah Limacher is one of Australia’s hottest up and coming sommeliers, having worked in some of Sydney’s top establishments and picking up a string of awards including, three goblets in the 2011 Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards for her work at Berowra Waters Inn. Sarah joined The Keystone Group in 2011 as Group Sommelier overseeing 12 properties including The Loft, Bungalow 8, The Winery, Manly Wine and Gazebo Wine Garden.

Originally from New Zealand, hospitality has always been in Sarah’s blood. Both of her parents ran restaurants where she worked on the floor from the age of 13. In 2006, Sarah moved to Sydney to waitress at Restaurant 41, where her love of the wine list really took hold. Following that she took three months off to travel Europe and visit some of the world’s leading wine regions. In 2010 she passed her Level One Court of Master Sommeliers Certificate and has this year participated in the Australian Working With Wine Fellowship Program.
